About

Manasa H C (PhD – Pursuing) is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at RV University, Bengaluru. She holds an M.Tech in Biomedical Signal Processing and Instrumentation with First Class with Distinction from JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. She is currently pursuing her Part time PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Healthcare from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru.

Her academic and research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and their applications in healthcare and intelligent systems. She has actively contributed to the research community through presentations at prestigious international conferences, including IEEE conferences and global forums in India, Italy(hybrid), and the United Kingdom(hybrid). Her research spans areas such as early disease detection, physiotherapy guidance systems, generative AI, and personalized recommendation systems.

Manasa has been recognized for her research excellence with two Best Paper Awards at international IEEE conferences—one in the Biomedical Applications track for her work on AI-driven early detection in healthcare, and another in the Communication, Signal Processing, and Information Technology track for her work on PhysioRAG, an evidence-based physiotherapy system.

She has also delivered a technical talk on Generative AI in Non-Destructive Evaluation at an international conference and contributed to a patent on privacy-preserving AI for collaborative medical diagnosis.

As a dedicated mentor, she has guided undergraduate student projects in emerging domains, including Deep Compression Models, AI-powered crypto analysis platforms, real-time sign language translation, and explainable AI-based legal chatbots.

Manasa combines strong academic expertise with research-driven innovation, striving to advance AI technologies that address real-world challenges while fostering student learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
