Dr. Basavaraj Patil is working as a Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at R.V. University, Bengaluru. He brings over a decade of extensive teaching and research experience, with expertise in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks, Cybersecurity, Blockchain Technology, Mobile and Web Applications.

Professionally, he is a Senior Member of IEEE & IEEE Computer Society and Life Member of ISTE, and affiliated with international bodies such as IE(I), IAENG, IACSIT, and IFERP.

He is actively contributes to academic leadership as Board of Studies/Examination Member, and Coordinator for academic quality initiatives. He is committed to outcome-based education and student-centered learning, focusing on industry-readiness and ethical competence.
